On one side the divorce trajectory was an emotional period in which good agreements had to be made within a small time frame. Laura helped me exceptionally because she is involved, emphatic and and the same time she has a focus on the interest and goals to reach good agreements. Because of this I could continue to built on my own future and that of my children.

Laura Boomsma Shriber has assisted me several times since 2014 in matters relating to the authority and dealings with our children. Her approach is such that she first thoroughly examines the circumstances to ensure that she chooses an approach that fits your wishes and interests as a client. I noticed that she put the interests of our children first and provided me with good advice. She is realistic in her assessments of what is and what is not feasible and not afraid to be confrontational if I myself took actions that did not contribute to what we were striving for in the matter. She also advised me not to take legal action several times, although this could have generated more revenue. She acts supportive in the courtroom and is respected by judges, because she does not behave amoral. She is a keen lawyer who quickly understands the case and provides evidence that is persuasive and writes clear pleadings in a short time. This has led to a good outcome in both cases that ultimately came to court. In addition, she has a lot of humor and humanity, which is also nice if you have accidentally ended up in a divorce.

I didn’t know at all if I wanted to get a divorce when I first came in contact with Laura. I did know that I needed someone who could stand by me in this very emotional time and give me clear advice. How blessed I felt with Laura. Besides being a very accurate and professional lawyer, she is also a very good independent mediator. She was able to explain to me in a very clear way what was and what was not possible and always listened to me very well. She works very carefully and is very easy to reach. I would like to do the collective divorce course with her, but unfortunately my ex and I chose mediation due to circumstances. I am convinced that collective divorce had led to a balanced solution for all parties (including children). I have experienced that Laura offers a complete package for her clients and tries to think along in all facets of a divorce. I highly recommend her.
